One of my goals this year is to bake more. Not only is it an enjoyable task with yummy rewards (well, most of the time....the banana bread incident of 2009 comes to mind) it gives me the chance to control the ingredients in our sweet snacks. Cookies are not really "healthy" per se; however, if my cookies have six ingredients versus sixteen, it just makes eating that cookie all that much better.
