A Little Toddy Talk

I have admitted that I love coffee.

I mean, I really love coffee.

Really, Really love coffee.

I used to go to the little coffee shop near our house every morning for an iced mocha.  And I used to feel so guilty for doing so.  At $3.00 a pop, that adds up and with my frugal ways, the two didn't go together very well together.

Enter the Toddy Cold Brew System

(and you thought I was going to talk about hot toddy's didn't you??)

For $39, I was a little skeptical.
I mean, it's only a plastic container.   Right?

Wrong.

The key is the little wool felt filters:

Who would have thought?  Little wool felt circles.   Hmmph.

Why am I always a day late to the parade?

So all you need to go from this:

 To this:

Is this:
A grinder, your favorite coffee beans and The Toddy.

To make a pot of coffee goodness, you just:
Grind your beans
Soak for 12 hours in the Toddy
Drain

Each batch makes about 4 cups of coffee.

When I make an Iced Mocha in my reusable cup, I do the following:

Pour one cup of coffee into my cup
Mix well
Add 1 1/2 cups of milk (you can mix in a little half & half too)
Add some ice
Violoa!

A yummy Iced Mocha

(I was in no way paid to endorse The Toddy.
They have no idea who I am or how much I love their little plastic contraption)

I don't need another addiction (I am repeating that to myself).

This makes me wish I could drink coffee. I'll share it with my coffee fanatic daughters. I know they will love it.
